The Papua New Guinea China Friendship Association is a non-profit social organization with legal personality established to adapt to the constantly expanding and improving trade cooperation between Papua New Guinea and China. It is committed to promoting the docking and cooperation between Papua New Guinea's new economic policy of the Papua New Guinea Vision 2050 and China's "the Belt and Road" initiative, and registered in the Papua New Guinea non-profit registry. The association has received strong support from relevant departments of the Chinese government, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, local chambers of commerce, and local industry associations. It will establish long-term and close cooperation channels with relevant institutions of the Papua New Guinea government, such as the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Investment and Development, the Port of Moresby City Government, and the Federation of Industry and Commerce.
