Association Introduction
The Papua New Guinea-China Friendship Association came into being. It is a non-profit social organization with legal person status established to meet the growing demand for trade cooperation between the two countries and to enhance the level of cooperation. The association has completed registration at the non-profit registration office in Papua New Guinea and is committed to promoting the deep integration of Papua New Guinea's new economic policy of "Papua New Guinea Vision 2050" and China's "Belt and Road" initiative.
The association has received strong support from relevant departments of the Chinese government, and has also been widely recognized and assisted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, local chambers of commerce and local industry associations. In addition, the association will establish long-term and stable cooperative relations with key departments of the Papua New Guinea government, such as the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Investment and Development, as well as the Port Moresby Municipal Government, the Federation of Industry and Commerce, etc., to jointly promote the development of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The association takes it as its mission to promote in-depth exchanges between Papua New Guinea and China in various fields, and is committed to promoting the prosperity and development of trade between the two countries. As a new bridge for trade between the two countries, it provides strong support for Chinese government organizations at all levels to carry out diversified economic and trade activities in Papua New Guinea. At the same time, the association encourages enterprises from both countries to carry out multi-field and in-depth cooperation, build a platform for business contacts between entrepreneurs from both countries, and promote win-win results for both sides.
In order to achieve this goal, the association has set up a number of professional departments, including the Trade Law Advisory Center, the Trade Legal Aid Center, the Trade and Investment Advisory Center, and the Government Public Relations Department. These departments will work together to provide timely and professional services for various problems that may be encountered in trade between the two countries. Through these efforts, the association will help Papua New Guinea and Chinese companies establish flexible and efficient trade channels, explore more business opportunities, and promote the continued healthy development of trade relations between the two countries.
