Ambassador Zeng Fanhua attended the video docking meeting between the National Agricultural Research Institute of Papua New Guinea and the Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences

On May 16, Ambassador Zeng Fanhua was invited to attend the video docking meeting between the National Agricultural Research Institute of Papua New Guinea and the Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Yantai Vice Mayor Zhang Zhixin, Deputy Director of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau Wang Wengang, Vice President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences Song Laiqing, and Director of the National Agricultural Research Institute of Papua New Guinea Simbiken attended.

Ambassador Zeng positively evaluated the China-Papua New Guinea relations and said that agricultural cooperation is an important area of practical cooperation between China and Papua New Guinea. The Embassy is willing to provide service guarantees for Yantai City to carry out exchanges and cooperation with Papua New Guinea, and actively support the friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Papua New Guinea National Agricultural Research Institute.

Deputy Mayor Zhang Zhixin introduced the opening up and exchanges and cooperation of Yantai City and said that Yantai City looks forward to in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Papua New Guinea in agriculture and other fields, and will actively support the agricultural research institutions of both sides to share scientific research resources and experience, and jointly explore new models and new paths for agricultural cooperation.

Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Papua New Guinea National Agricultural Research Institute introduced their basic situations and exchanged views on the development of apple and other agricultural product planting technology, personnel training, mutual visits and exchanges.
